Seeking Inclusive Fashion Designer
We are launching a nationwide search for an experienced fashion designer with expertise in plus-size and accessible design. This will be a paid position to create the main character’s inclusive fashion line for our body-positive feature film EMPIRE WAIST. Must apply by 4/31.
Written and directed by Claire Ayoub, EMPIRE WAIST is being produced by Wayfarer Studios (CLOUDS, FIVE FEET APART) with producers Justin Baldoni, Andrew Calof, and Crystal Collins.

About the Role
If selected, the designer will be hired to create twenty unique looks for our cast of teen girls. Our cast has a range of body types, including plus-sized and disabled actors. These twenty looks will be a mix of streetwear and high-fashion couture. Twelve of these looks will be shown off at the girls’ school and the final eight looks will be featured as a full collection at the main character’s fashion show debut.
We're looking for:

—A passion for designing plus-size and accessible clothing
—A designer comfortable leading a team of seamstresses and wardrobe assistants.
